Operational Lead for System Resilience and Performance

The Finegreen Group is working in partnership with a CCG based in the South East that requires an experienced Operational Lead for System Resilience and Performance for an interim assignment commencing immediately.

Reporting into the Contracting & Performance Lead the post holder will be required to support the System Resilience strand to ensure work streams are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Working closely with system partners to address day to day management of system performance variation; 
  • Representing the team on escalation calls with senior colleagues from partner organisations and hold partners to account for actions;
  • Leading on day to day operational issues with patient transport, liaising with the contract lead;
  • Establishing and managing relationships with senior colleagues for partner organisations;
  • Preparing presentations and formal reports on behalf of the System Resilience Team;
  • Owning and managing a portfolio of projects;
  • Managing NHSE requests for daily/weekly reports; 
  • Responsible for ensuring urgent care performance data is ready for reports;
  • Liaison with contract and BI leads to ensure effective monitoring data sets are developed across the directorate.

Key experience & skills required;

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area;
  • Post-graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent level of experience;
  • Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment;
  • Evidence of continued professional development;
  • Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments;
  • Experience of managing risks and reporting;
  • Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at SMT level;
  • Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes;
  • Demonstrated experience  in a healthcare environment;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project.
