The Finegreen Group are currently partnering with Healthcare Partners Limited (HPL), a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are supporting HPL in the recruitment of an Operations Business Partner.

HPL came into operation on 1st April 2018 and the company will transform the delivery of procurement and medical equipment servicing within the Trust. In doing this it will unlock significant financial and non-financial benefits for the Trust, as well as opportunities for growth and expansion in the future. 

Historically procurement, contracts and servicing of medical equipment has been highly dispersed across individual departments in the Trust. HPL will consolidate and achieve synergies in these to bring about operational and financial efficiencies, as well as transformation of future service delivery. It will also release clinical staff from having to manage these items and so free up time for them to deliver more patient care.

Operations Business Partner - Key Responsibilities:

  • The role involves building relationships with “customer” departments within the Trust; 
  • You will have a daily presence in their portfolio departments; 
  • You will act as account manager, ensuring the department has all the tools and services it needs to run the operational services smoothly and efficiently. This will include: Hard FM, Soft FM, Equipment management, Repairs, Consumables Ordering , Stock Ordering, Procurement, Business Development, Bids and Tenders;
  • You will write and build business cases liaising internal subject matter experts in the individual departments. You will need to be able to develop and build business to support the departments, organisation and the Trust.

 

Operations Business Partner - Key Skills/Experience:

  • Background in procurement, contract management & equipment management;
  • Category management experience in procurement would be a good knowledge and experience base;
  • Business case development and creation;
  • Strong relationship builder and maintainer with operational management teams and clinicians;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Experience within “Customer” facing roles;
  • Excellent stakeholder engager who can communicate effectively with different stakeholders and at all levels;
  • Confident in finding resolutions to problems;
  • Transformational  change experience.
