Finegreen are supporting The Clatterbridge Private Clinic to appoint a Clinical Services Manager position. This is an excellent career opportunity to advance and develop your career with a leading private healthcare organisation.

The Clatterbridge Private Clinic is a joint venture partnership between Mater Private Healthcare (Ireland) and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. The partnership was created in 2012 to enhance the provision of private cancer care in the Merseyside region and attract the international patient to the clinics. These two organisations work together to combine the highest levels of consultant-led care and patient choice with the most advanced knowledge and understanding of the disease and its forms.

This means their patients benefit from rapid access to the latest treatments, therapies and technologies, all delivered in the comfort of a purpose-built, modern environment. While our unique partnership with The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust ensures that a share of our profits is reinvested back into the NHS to improve cancer services across the region.

The primary role of the Clinical Services Manager post is to assist the Business Manager in the effective and efficient running of the clinic and act as the Clatterbridge Private Clinic Lead Chemotherapy Nurse. The post holder will act as a positive role model through effective leadership and demonstration of competent, accountable clinical practice.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong values and commitment to quality and patient safety;
  • Registered Adult Nurse with valid current NMC Registration;
  • Experience within Cancer Care;
  • ENB N59 or equivalent chemotherapy qualification;
  • Excellent Cannulation and Venepuncture Skills;
  • Central Venous Access Device Skills;
  • Knowledge relating to the prevention and management of Extravasation;
  • Immediate life support training;
  • Ability to develop a profitable healthcare business unit;
  • Ability to lead, supervise and manage a team;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and particular strength in managing critical business relationships;
  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
  • Previous project management experience;
  • Previous experience in Hospital/Healthcare Management position desirable.

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen and a wealth of management experience with the clinical ability to lead by example.
