We are working with an organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Finance Business Partner for an interim assignment for 3 months initially.
The role will start ASAP and will have hybrid working, 3 days on site and 2 days remote.
The organisation need an experienced Financed Business Partner, to establish a new finance business partner approach.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivery of an effective finance business partner support function;
Supporting budget holders in; identify cost drivers, undertake cost-benefit analysis, undertake options appraisals and building business cases;
Development of budgeting and forecasting processes;
Medium-Term Financial Planning;
Development of training packages for finance colleagues and non-finance budget holders;
Implementation and maintenance of robust financial management systems and processes;
Use of ICT to generate efficiencies, increase productivity and to streamline processes;
Manipulation of large data sets and presentation of accurate, timely and relevant management information;
Drafting of financial reports / presentations;
Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
CCAB or CIMA qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience Accountant;
A sound understanding of local government finance;
Considerable experience of working in the financial management function of a large and complex organisation;
Experience of practical accounting/finance systems including maintaining and developing computerised financial systems.
