Interim Targeted Lung Health Check Manager

Job Description

We are working with an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Senior Commissioning/Project Manager – Cancer for a short term appointment. The role will be for 5/6 months initially and is a key appointment for the organisation.

The expectation is that the role will be remote working for the duration and will be at Band 8c/8d agency capped rates and will start ASAP.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience in managing and leading programmes. This includes planning, executing, and overseeing the implementation of projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget;

  • The role requires the ability to develop and set up the necessary infrastructure for the implementation of a specific cancer services programme;

  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as it involves working with regional colleagues. The successful post holder should also have the ability to influence others to achieve the objectives of the programme;

  • The successful post holder will need to be highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and keep track of all aspects of the programme.
