Shared Care Record Project Manager

Job Description

Our Client is looking for an experienced project manager to work on their NHS Shared Care Record programme, One Health and Care.

The Project Manager will support the Programme lead in the continued implementation and additional functionality deployment of the Shared Care Record across the ICS so experience of working across multiple organisations and systems is essential.

The Role

  • Working specifically on the Shared Care record Programme;

  • Producing project documentation;

  • Liaison with suppliers and providers;

  • Data integration from partner organisations primary clinical systems;

  • Data enhancements to include pathology and radiology;

  • Technical specialist for the delivery of the wider programme;

  • Project manage data integration workstream reporting exceptions, managing risks and issues

  • Stakeholder management including supporting partner organisations to deliver to agreed timescales;

  • Monitoring and Reporting (outcomes, status, highlights, exceptions, risks, issues and mitigations etc);

  • Technical contact for the Shared Care Record for all workstream leads;

  • Developing and maintaining project plans and project documentation (relating to data integration);

  • Development of future data integration plans i.e. to onboard future partners (care homes, hospices) and data enhancement increasing the scope and richness of the shared care record

  • On-boarding of additional organisations including risk and issue management;

  • Development of safety case documentation and periodic review and refresh of the documents.

Person Specification

  • Ideally educated to degree level in relevant subject or demonstrate specialist level of experience of working at a similar level in a complex specialist area;

  • Hold a PRINCE2 Foundation level or demonstrate significant specialist experience of using the methodology in the workplace and on projects;

  • Have significant experience in project management and supporting change management processes and have an understanding of evaluating and measuring performance in communications and stakeholder management;

  • Ideally have previous working knowledge of Microsoft Projects within similar role within public sector and can evince a solid understanding and knowledge of at least one clinical system, either primary, secondary or relevant.
