Job Description
Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment of an Estates Project Manager, focused and specialising within Space Reconfiguration/Moves Management.
You will have experience of estates transformation and space reconfiguration in a clinical environment, implementing smarter/agile working practices in a built environment within the healthcare sector.
The role is initially for 9 months to provide additional support to the existing team, specifically focused on a major health and estates planning transformation/change to support a new MSK non acute community service across the locality.
Initial Overview:
Several potential service relocations from acute settings to community based alternatives – assessment of need based on activity and target operating model; staff, patient and key stakeholder engagement; option identification; feasibility assessment; business case preparation; commissioning and move management;
Reconfiguration of estates solutions at various sites across the locality to enable better integration and support of the target operating model;
Due diligence on a number of leasehold interests, working alongside the current asset management and property team;
Commissioning, move management and service mobilisation;
Suitability:
This role would suit an experienced health planner with strategic project management skills;
Proven track record of the compilation of reports/business cases related, with an appreciation of governance requirements for a partnership of NHS providers within an ICB;
Degree in an architecture/surveying discipline or equivalent experience is ideal.
This is a complex and time constrained programme, the client is looking to interview and appoint early November with a start date soon after.
Due to the nature of this role, whilst operating a hybrid working model to attract the best talent there will be some onsite presence needed. The role will be 4 days per week, ideally 2 of these will be onsite.
