NHS People Business Partner

Job Description

Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment of an NHS People Business Partner who holds experience working within the NHS in a similar role at Band 8a level.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of a professional and strategic business partnering service assigned to a designated portfolio of clinical and / or central support (Core) services;

  • Business Partners are expected to work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build local services and people capability – as well as shape and implement effective people strategies and activities;

  • Commission support required locally from other internal support services (e.g. ER casework team, special projects team, Resourcing, Temporary Staffing, Payroll, Medical Workforce, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Occupational Health, Staff Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion specialists);

  • Develop strong working relationships with People Directorate colleagues and also support matrix working across other central support services, e.g. Finance, Strategy, Quality, Corporate Nursing /AHP / Healthcare Sciences leads;

  • Contribute actively to Trust wide working as and when required including contribution to the Trust Annual Planning and Operational Delivery Plan developments.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in HRM or Employment Law or equivalent experience;

  • CIPD Qualified to level 7 or equivalent level of experience;

  • Experience of offering and providing expert HR advice on a wide range of employment relations /litigation matters.
