HR & OD Consultant

Job Description

​A Health Board in Wales is looking for someone for a period of 3-6 months to support their senior HR & OD team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of strategic people plans for the areas you have responsibility for;

  • Provide expert knowledge, skills and interventions to influence and challenge the achievement of the people deliverables;

  • Ensure that effective and appropriate strategic HR Plans are in place to develop a highly skilled, competent and motivated workforce which support service and professional transformation to benefit patient care.;

  • Provide expert strategic HR & OD advice to the areas for which you are responsible and provide advice to the highest levels within those areas;

  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners and Centres in delivering the strategic workforce agenda;

  • Use highly specialised skills and expert knowledge of employment legislation, HR policy and practice, organisational development approaches;

  • Build credible and effective working relationships with all Stakeholders.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Significant experience of HR and organisational development issues in a large, complex, NHS Health Board/Trust

  • Evidence of strategic workforce change and implementation within a complex environment.

  • Proven track record of innovation, change management and implementing best practice Track record of inspiring and managing a team.
